    Removal STEPS

No case is always the same. The first step that must be done is to determine what the problem is and what it is that is
causing the problem or damage?

With Squirrels sometimes you can get lucky and just Build them out, by finding the area of access where they are entering and
do a run through of checking to make sure they are out of the area that they have been known to make noise in. Then
secure material over the areas they have chewed through. This can vary from location to location. Some locations can have 1-2
routes of entry. Others can have 10 or more. A live capture trap may be needed to capture any that enter before all areas are closed.

Some homes, even new homes are built with a gap in various parts under the eaves (sometimes all the way around the structure), that allow enough room for a squirrel to enter; or just barely chew to make the area bigger and gain access with ease.

In working with Raccoons and other wildlife almost always the steps involved are:

1.) Set-up a live capture trap in area of activity, noise, etc.

2.) Find all routes of entry the animal has made or is using.

3.) Close the areas off, repair them.

4.) Remove captured wildlife and release in a drop-off zone away from residential areas.

5.) Re-set live capture trap if more noise is heard or evidence indicates there are more in the attic, crawl-space, or elsewhere.

Usually you will not have more than 2-5 squirrels, raccoons or other wildlife in a usual urban situation.
